breakfast @ work:

  • croissant
  • 1/2 sesame bagel w/ veggie cream cheese

lunch w/ Miss Mareck:

  • salmon and avocado asian slaw
  • shared seaweed salad from Masa in Grand Central w/ Miss Mareck
  • shared gelato from Ciao Bella w/ Miss Mareck (triple espresso and lemon basil!)

dinner @ Quantum Leap:

  • guac and chips
  • 1/2 portobello & pesto veggie burger with fries and salad
  • 1/2 mushroom & swiss veggie burger
  • couple bites salmon chowder
  • 3 raw chicken hearts soaked in a glass of bourbon
  • Sapporo beer, bottle of

Lunch

  • Orange Seitan with Kale and Brown Rice: leftovers from Wild Ginger

Snack 1

  • Salted [shame on me] Peanuts and Raisins
  • Iced Mint/Lemon Tea

Snack 2

  • Garlic Olive Martini
  • Organic Syrah from Uva
  • Hummus from Oasis

Dinner @ Grape & Grain

  • Some kind of White Sparkling Wine
  • Portobello Mushroom Salad
  • Seared Yellowfin
  • Prosciutto, ice cream and Salami Pizza

breakfast (eaten around 11am): half a grapefruit

lunch: leftovers from Chevy’s 

  • chile relleno
  • half a tamale
  • half an enchilada
  • beans

snacks: kettle popcorn, goldfish crackers

dinner: quesadilla w/ pepper jack cheese, salsa
              a couple bites of salmon
              half an avocado

eat and enjoy phood, not too much, mostly plants

although we will get to waxing on and off about $12 pickles and the various benefits/dangers of various foods/food products, one might want to know that there will be boring posts like this one from time to time. in fact, possibly every day. the goal is to eat and enjoy food, not too much, mostly plants. let’s see how we do.

  • spaghetti w/tomatoes/mozz/basil
  • baby mesclun salad w/yellow peppers/cucumbers/tomatoes
  • 1 pbr tall boy
