waking up at 5:30am and driving a uhaul truck for the second day through/to brooklyn, staten island, jersey & manhattan, spending my entire saturday hauling ass for the health fair can only be somewhat compensated by an insane amount of free food…

wake up: 1 c. org coffee

breakfast:

  • 2 balls of banana walnut raw snack
  • 1 large (really large) cinnamon raisin bagel w 1/4 c. assorted cream cheese: chives, red pepper, cinnamon raisin, veggie.
  • 1 c. pineapples
  • 1 c. cantaloupe
  • 1 c. strawberries

more free food throughout the day:

  • 2 c. pineapples
  • 2 c. strawberries

lunch:

  • 3 slices whole wheat pizza
  • 4 c. whole wheat pasta w cream sauce, olives & tomatoes

sweets:

  • 1 slice blueberry & strawberry cheese cake
  • 3 banana walnut raw snack
  • 7 apples & grapes snack packs

home:

  • 1/2 c. shelled pistachios
  • 1/2 small org watermelon
  • 2 c. : asparagus, squash, onions, potato, shrimp, scallop
  • 1 pc lamb chop
  • green tea

  • egg (overeasy) bacon and cheese on a roll, Tabasco sauce
  • small iced coffee

lunch @ Oyster Bar:

  • shrimp pan roast
  • tastes of gazpacho and fried oyster
  • bread and crackers

snack:

  • 1-cup pineapple and strawberries
  • 2 pocket coffee candies

dinner:

  • 1 TJ’s frozen quesadilla w. salsa
  • yerba mate @ tea lounge
  • glass of cab sauv

  • 1 c. TJ’s fiber cereal w 1 c org soymilk
  • 1/2 c. frozen blueberries

lunch @ google. i met mario batali! sort of. i was too scared to actually talk to him

  • 2 c. green salad w grilled brussel sprouts, squash & beets
  • from the raw bar: 1/2 c. quinoa & bean salad, 1 c. apple crumble, 1/2 c. yellowsquash thing, 1/2 c. sweet corn soup, 1/2 c. tomato salad
  • 1.5 c. lentils w spinach
  • 1.5 c. roasted artichoke hearts
  • 1 large pc pan seared halibut
  • 1 c. cherries
  • 2 c. watermelon & mint salad
  • 1 c. asparagus
  • from Mario Batali’s grill bar: 8 extra large sauced butter sea scallops w tomato, 8 large shrimp, grilled asparagus w panchetta, 2.5 c. grilled squash tomato & onions.

dessert @ google:

  • 2 c. strawberries
  • 1 c. raspberries
  • 2 peanut butter cookies
  • 1 brownie

snack:

  • 2/3 bottle green kombucha
  • 1 c. strawberries
  • 1/2 c. blueberries

drink in hells kitchen:

  • 1 pint yuengling
  • 1.5 c. seasoned home fries

snack/dinner:

  • 2 c. cherries
  • 1 c. strawberries
  • green tea w rose

late snack:

  • about a dozen brazil nuts

lunch:

  • 2″ x 3″ TJ’s vegetable and whole grain lasagna

lunch #2:

  • 1/2 chicken breast sammich with wasabi mayo and pickled ginger
  • various cheeses (4 -oz. total), small tomato wedge, pickle chip, 5 chunks of pineapple

dinner:

  • TJ’s black bean and corn quesadilla w. salsa
  • handful leftover seasoned fries, cold * chewy
  • 1-c. total of brown rice and chicken eggplant in garlic sauce (froz. leftovers)
  • beer

snack @ school:

  • 1/2 c. walnut dried banana mix
  • 1/2 c. cashews & brazil nuts
  • 1 c. kombucha

lunch @ Maple:

  • 2 c salad
  • 1 bowl tom yum seafood soup
  • 6 pc traple roll sushi
  • tea

snack

  • 1/2 c. cashews & brazil nuts
  • 1/2 small org watermelon

dinner:

  • roasted corn on the cob
  • few handfuls of tortilla chips
  • 1/2 c. raw shelled pistachios
  • green tea

dessert:

  • 1 c. kiwi banana pineapple smoothie

a lot of nuts today…
